ABOUT US

Tandem Cycling for the Visually impaired

Tandemonium! was founded by John and Ed, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, in 2016.

The aims of this community group are to promote cycling amongst the visually impaired of Cheltenham and the surrounding area, and to strengthen the ties between the local visually impaired and sighted communities. For more details, please see the group's constitution.

We are very grateful to AVM Storage Solutions for providing all of our storage needs, free of charge!

We also owe a great deal to Charlotte's Tandems, for it was through them, and the tandem bikes they loaned us, that we both discovered the joy and fun in tandem cycling. Now we want to offer it to the visually impaired in our local area.

If you're visually impaired and fancy having a go, please get in touch. You can write to us at [email protected]. We'll get back to you as soon as we can!

We're also looking for sighted pilots; no experience necessary! (You'd be surprised how quickly a tandem begins to feel normal.)

The project's still very much in its infancy, but we'd love to get you on board now! Come grow with us. :-)
